Our privileged location allows us to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside with the comforts and technologies of the city. Quinta Azul has over 7000 square meters of gardens, trees, grass, and flowers in an ecologically sound compound. We have purified, drinkable water throughout the house. All household water is recycled to water plants & grass, we have our own small water treatment facility. We also recycle and compost all household waste. And all just 10 kilometers to Oaxaca's Historic Center.

Quinta Azul is the ideal space to relax and rest the body, soul and spirit, perfect to share with family and friends, surrounded by vegetation, endemic birds, incomparable 360 views, silence, blue skies, and no city lights to detract from the moonlight & starry nights - a truly pleasant experience. We organize events on our grounds, making Quinta Azul the fantasy location for your family reunion, wedding or other special occasion.

Quinta Azul is a grand house in the Mexican style, made of adobe, large wooden beams, ceramic tiled roof, ornate ironwork and huge windows, with screens, to take advantage of the spectacular view and the perfect privacy. The house has 2 large and very comfortable bedrooms, decorated in an impeccable style for your delight. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with double sinks and luxurious amenities. At Quinta Azul we don't give you tiny plastic bottles of shampoo, etc., because we believe in taking care of our environment, we only use refillable dispensers with the finest soaps, shampoos and lotions. All of the water at Quinta Azul is DRINKABLE. Yes, that's right, you will be in Mexico and you can drink and brush teeth with the tap water! And you have the security of knowing you are bathing and washing dishes with purified water.

Also in the house is a lovely and cozy living room, complete with large TV, satellite cable, DVD player and movies to entertain you. The large, beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with the newest appliances and everything you will need. Cook at home, or have your meals cooked for you by a gourmet cook! You can even ask to have home-baked cakes and breads made for you so you arrive home to the smell of home-baked goodies. Want to enjoy a good wine with dinner? Ask the owners, they are wine experts and will make sure you have the best wines available.

The experience at Quinta Azul is like no other. You really must see it to appreciate it. The swimming pool is heated all year, and the grounds invite you to sit under the palapa and relax with a cold beer and/or a good book. We also have a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the views, eat your breakfast (included), sunbathe, listen to music (we have ipod dock), doze in the hammock, connect your laptop or just sit and listen to the birds, not traffic.

And, that's not all. Quinta Azul also provides a track around the grounds so you can exercise while breathing clean, fresh air. But perhaps one of the best perks is that Quinta Azul is pet friendly! We have a kennel with extra large doghouse with lights, and a bathing station for your dog! Your pet will have as good of a time as the family, running on the green grass and enjoying First Class Accommodations.
